AND THAT'S A WRAP!!

Matthew Steans as 'Eric', aka BinBoy.

So, having had loads to say on a super busy each and everyday throughout last week, I failed to blog. Sorry world.

But good news film fans! BinBoy successfully wrapped Saturday evening at 6.32pm, Greenwich Mean Time. It was a long day, and I'd like to make a few 'thank you' shout outs to the following people:

Firstly, the film's lead actors: Matthew Steans and Ilana Lloyd. Two very talented performers who took direction exceptionally well, and used it to deliver solid, natural performances. Matthew especially had a loooong day of it, but didn't falter for a second - and thank god - his eye for continuity got us out of  what would have been a few post-production nightmares!

Also, Peter Halpin and Anita Elias, our seasoned pros who delivered with ease. They both nailed their characters, allowing me the luxury of concentrating on all things behind the camera.

Then there's our fantastic young cast who kept energy levels high with their cheekiness and entertaining performances. They kept the entire crew smiling while we captured some fantastic footage, with serendipity providing us with some lovely little nuances that will provide a few comedic flourishes to the film - can't wait to get in the edit and play about with them.

I'd particularly like to say a BIG thank you to all chaperone's who gave up their Saturday morning for a long and lonely slog in the green room - we couldn't have done this without them! A further BIG thank you to Leon and the St john the Baptist School team for allowing us full access - we couldn't have asked for better more accommodating location.

A MASSIVE THANK YOU to Rossy Georgeson who has been the single most important influence in this entire production. Her keen eye for natural young talent and immense skill in developing it gave us our superb cast, and without her efforts (and contacts!) this simply wouldn't have been possible.

Lastly, I'd like to tip my hat to my ace crew Ben Tivnen, Sam Evenden, Billy Everett & Hattie May Perkins for bringing their A-game, stepping up to the plate, and delivering under a pressured shedule. There was a lot to get done, and a lot of people to keep happy, and the day ran super smoothly thanks to all their efforts.

Now on to the edit! There's still alot to get down and not much time, but I'll back with an update shortly.

Catch your later, Uncle Pota'ta.

Update: Paviour's Eleven!

Matt, Brad, Me, Julia & Andy mixing it up

Yeah, that's right, I'm Danny Ocean.

Wha'choo gonna do 'bowt it?

Alright, so I lied. There's not eleven of us. I'm a bald-faced liar. But good news film fans! The production crew is assembling nicely, with some very talented people in the mix, ready to open a full six-pack of whoop-ass in this here joint.

I'm super excited so say that we're gonna be using the latest and greatest in HD filming, all packaged up in the firm and toothsome frame of the Canon 7D. This is a fantastic time for filmmakers, with high-end HD recording technology now available at consumer prices. Now that we're all blessed with the ability to make what we shoot look proper LUSH, and any old Tom, Dick or Harry can have a pop at it, the key ingredient to success is still having a ruddy good idea. We think we've got something pretty cool for 2 minutes 20 seconds of screen time. The proof - as they say - will lie firmly in the pudding.

Say hello to my little friend.
A cake. That's a pig.

Speaking of pudding, I'm also positively thrilled to announce that the production has it's very own cake baker in the form of our powerhouse Production Manager Hattie May Perkins. She's a force to be reckoned with, but by god if she don't do some mean baking.

Due to this, it saddens me to say, I'm simply unable to reveal the production location out of sheer fear of a mobbing. Safety is paramount.

Tomorrow = Casting.

We're auditioning for the leads! YES! Thanks to the amazing generosity and involvement of Rossy Georgeson we'll be hunting for the perfect young thespian talent - so keep your peepers peeled for updates coming thick and fast from now on.

Also, check out Rossy's website, it's a cracker: http://www.dragondrama.co.uk/

Catch you later world.
